Cookie Policy

What cookies we use and why.

Last updated: 1 March 2026

1. Introduction, What Are Cookies?

This Cookie Policy explains how Percee Digital Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at perceedigital.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides broader information about how we collect and use personal data.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to provide a better user experience, and to give website owners information about how their sites are being used. Cookies are not harmful to your device and cannot access any other information on your device beyond what was placed there by the website.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as:

  • Web beacons (pixel tags): Tiny invisible images embedded in web pages or emails that track whether a page or email has been opened and can record the IP address of the device
  • Local storage: Data stored in your browser's local storage mechanism, which persists beyond a browser session
  • Session storage: Temporary data stored for the duration of a browser session only
  • JavaScript tags: Code snippets embedded in our website that collect information about your behaviour, such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel

References to "cookies" in this policy include all of these technologies unless otherwise specified.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • To ensure our website functions correctly and securely
  • To remember your preferences and settings (such as language or cookie consent choices)
  • To understand how visitors find and use our website, so we can improve our content and user experience
  • To measure the performance and effectiveness of our digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising on Google, Meta, and LinkedIn
  • To show you relevant advertising on third-party platforms based on your visit to our website (remarketing)
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

We obtain your consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device. You can withdraw or update your consent at any time by accessing our cookie preference centre via the banner displayed when you first visit our website, or by using the browser settings described in Section 5 below.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We categorise the cookies on our website as follows:

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for our website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the website may then not function. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information and do not require your consent.

3.2 Analytics & Performance Cookies

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our website. They help us understand which pages are most and least popular and how visitors move around the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not know when you have visited our site and will not be able to monitor its performance. These cookies require your consent.

3.3 Marketing & Targeting Cookies

These cookies are set through our website by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store directly personal information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising. These cookies require your explicit consent.

3.4 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly. These cookies require your consent.

4. Cookie Consent

When you first visit our website, you will be shown a cookie consent banner that gives you the option to accept or reject different categories of cookies. We only set non-essential cookies after obtaining your consent.

4.1 Accepting Cookies

If you click "Accept All", we will set all categories of cookies as described in Section 3. Your consent is recorded and stored in the pd_cookie_consent cookie for 12 months. After 12 months, we will ask for your consent again.

4.2 Rejecting or Customising Cookies

If you click "Reject All", we will only set strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the website to function. You can also click "Manage Preferences" to choose which categories of cookies you accept on a granular basis.

4.3 What Happens If You Reject Non-Essential Cookies

If you reject analytics cookies, we will not be able to track your visit in Google Analytics or Hotjar, and your browsing behaviour will not be used to improve our website. If you reject marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, and LinkedIn Insight Tag will not fire, and you will not be included in our remarketing audiences. You may still see our advertisements, but they will be less relevant to your interests.

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect the core functionality of our website, you can still read our content, submit contact forms, and access all pages.

4.4 Withdrawing Consent

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of our website, or by clearing the pd_cookie_consent cookie from your browser and re-visiting our site to be shown the consent banner again.

4.5 Sale, Sharing, and Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising purposes as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). While marketing cookies and tracking technologies (such as Meta Pixel and Google Ads) are used for ad attribution and remarketing when you have given consent, we do not engage in the sale or sharing of personal information as defined by CPRA.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information, as required under the CPRA and the Colorado Consumer Privacy Act (CPA). If your browser or browser extension sends a GPC signal when you visit our website, we will treat this as an opt-out of sale and sharing and will not set marketing or targeting cookies for your session, regardless of any prior consent stored in your consent cookie. Your GPC preference will not affect the placement of strictly necessary cookies.

5. Managing Cookies via Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when cookies are being set. Please note that if you choose to block all cookies (including strictly necessary cookies), some parts of our website may not function correctly.

Here is how to manage cookies in the most commonly used browsers:

Platform-Specific Opt-Outs

6. Third-Party Cookies

In addition to our own cookies, we allow certain trusted third parties to set cookies on our website. These third parties have their own privacy policies which govern the use of their cookies. We do not control these third-party cookies. A summary of the main third parties and their cookie practices is provided below:

Google LLC

Google sets cookies on our website through Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager. These cookies collect information about your use of our website, help us measure the performance of our advertising, and enable remarketing to users who have previously visited our website. Google's data is processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Meta Platforms, Inc.

Meta sets cookies via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API integration. These technologies track visitor actions on our website (such as page views and form submissions) and allow us to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns and build custom audiences for remarketing. Meta's data is processed in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. You can review Meta's data policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

LinkedIn Corporation

LinkedIn sets cookies via the LinkedIn Insight Tag. This enables in-depth campaign reporting and helps us understand how our B2B audience interacts with our website. LinkedIn uses this data to show targeted advertisements to website visitors on its platform. LinkedIn's data is processed in the United States and Ireland under Standard Contractual Clauses. You can review LinkedIn's privacy policy at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Hotjar Ltd

Hotjar sets cookies to provide behavioural analytics including heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel analysis. This helps us understand how visitors interact with our web pages on a visual level, enabling us to improve usability and conversion. Hotjar is based in Malta (EU) and processes data in accordance with GDPR. You can review Hotjar's privacy policy at hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy.

We have configured Hotjar to suppress and mask all form input fields and other sensitive data elements in session recordings. Text entered into contact forms, email fields, password fields, and any other input elements is automatically masked and is never transmitted to or stored by Hotjar. Only anonymised interaction data (scroll depth, click areas, page navigation) is captured.

HubSpot, Inc.

HubSpot sets cookies that help us track visitor sessions and contact interactions with our website, primarily to support our CRM and marketing automation workflows. When you submit a form, HubSpot uses these cookies to identify your contact record and prevent duplicates. HubSpot's data is processed in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can review HubSpot's privacy policy at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Server-Side Tracking

In addition to browser-based cookies, we use server-side tracking integrations, specifically the Meta Conversions API and the Google Ads Conversion API. These technologies transmit certain event and attribution data directly from our servers to Meta and Google, independently of your browser's cookie consent status and without placing additional cookies on your device.

The data transmitted via server-side APIs may include: your IP address (which is hashed before transmission where technically feasible), a hashed version of your email address (only where you have provided it via a contact or enquiry form), the URL of the page where an event occurred, the type of event (e.g., page view, form submission), and timestamp information. This data is used solely for ad conversion attribution and measurement purposes, helping us understand whether our advertising campaigns are reaching the right audiences and driving results.

For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, this server-side processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, specifically, our legitimate interest in accurate ad attribution and fraud prevention, which we have assessed as proportionate and not overriding your fundamental rights. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time by contacting us at privacy@perceedigital.com. For users in other jurisdictions, server-side tracking operates in accordance with applicable local data protection laws.

7. Cookie Duration Reference

Cookies on our website fall into two broad duration categories:

schedule

Session Cookies

Session cookies exist only for the duration of your visit to our website. They are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Session cookies are used for essential functions such as maintaining your login state, carrying form data between pages, and CSRF protection. They do not persist on your device after your browser session ends.

Persistent Cookies

Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period of time, or until you manually delete them. The duration varies from 30 minutes (Hotjar session) to 2 years (Google Analytics _ga). Persistent cookies are used for functions such as remembering your cookie preferences, tracking return visits for analytics, and supporting long-term advertising attribution.

The specific duration of each cookie we use is listed in the tables in Section 3. Please note that some third-party cookies may have their durations adjusted by the providers at any time. We will update this policy when we become aware of material changes to third-party cookie durations.

8. Updates to This Policy

We review and update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in our use of cookies, the tools and platforms we integrate with, and applicable laws and regulations. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.

If we make material changes, for example, adding new categories of cookies or engaging new third-party providers, we will display a notification on our website and, where appropriate, re-request your consent via the cookie consent banner. We will also revise the "Last Updated" date on this page.

We recommend checking this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acknowledgement of the updated policy.
